Sharing Our Love Of Daryl

Although Daryl grew up in a religious family,  “religion” for most of his life was simply and poetically based on treating everyone as his equal, being genuinely kind and understanding, and doing his small part in leaving the world a better place than he found it.

No funeral service could do justice to such a profoundly good person. No memorial service could capture what he meant to so many people across so many different circumstances throughout his life.

For that reason his ashes are divided in death, as he was in life, between the two locations that meant most to him––overlooking the University of Missouri and above the lake that he built on the land that he loved.
